Community Development Workers

Ashram has a team of dedicated community development workers (CDWs) dedicated to supporting people to improve their mental and physical well-being. These services are key to enabling people to live independently in their own homes and communities.

The CDWs edit Barbershop Magazine, a publication exploring issues of mental health amongst black and ethnic minority (BME) men. Two CDWs, Jasvinder Sandhu and Baljit Kaur Johal, also regularly put on mental health events and support groups at Bosworth Drive.
